About the Role
Reporting directly to the Director, you’ll be responsible for:
- Leading the preparation of accurate and competitive tenders and cost plans.
- Managing 5–6 concurrent tenders at various stages of pricing.
- Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
- Preparing tender submissions, trade breakdowns, and cost comparisons.
- Contributing to value management and buildability input during preconstruction.
- Participating in monthly reporting and tender review meetings with senior management.
You will ideally have:
- Proven experience as a Senior Estimator in the commercial construction sector.
- A background in projects across government, institutional or community-based clients.
- Strong trade knowledge and subcontractor network.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise under pressure
- A proactive approach and genuine interest in the success of the wider team.
- Well-established, financially strong builder with a strong pipeline of work.
- Diverse project mix – no two days are the same.
- Supportive Director who values autonomy, accuracy, and initiative.
- Clear career progression pathway to Pre-Construction Manager.
