A short term opportunity has arisen for an experienced client side project manager to manage a major consultancy project related to long-term infrastructure studies.
The local government area is going through a pivotal transformation, spurred by significant growth and increasing pressures on infrastructure and facilities. The long term infrastructure plan will assist in providing Council a strategic framework for infrastructure planning over the next two decades.
A key component of the Study will be the review and validation of Council’s existing asset base. The Study will clearly identify the funding gap, renewal backlog, and financial sustainability ratios— providing a transparent evidence base for future decisions on funding pathways and service delivery priorities.
Key responsibilities in the role:
- Oversee project schedule, governance, and consultant coordination.
- Manages risk and ensures technical deliverables are on track.
- Support coordination of consultants
- Ensure compliance with Council standards and IP&R requirements
- Assist with internal workshops, interviews and community insights
- Ensure engagement outcomes are integrated into the LTIP
The contract will be until end of June 2026.
