This is a standout and newly created opportunity for an ambitious Development Analyst to join a rapidly growing property group with a strong pipeline of projects and significant capital backing.
The Development Analyst will deliver financial modelling, analysis, and commercial insight across the development lifecycle - from acquisition through to delivery and stabilisation.
Working closely with development and finance teams, you will maintain feasibility models, manage cashflow and funding analysis, and monitor project performance across a live portfolio.
The Role
As a key member of the finance and development team, you will provide analytical support across the development lifecycle post-acquisition, partnering closely with Development Managers to deliver accurate financial modelling and project insights.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining development feasibility models across multiple projects
- Analysing key metrics including IRR, NPV, development margin, and return on cost
- Managing project cashflows, funding requirements, and drawdown analysis
- Supporting lender reporting and funding processes
- Monitoring project performance vs feasibility, identifying risks and opportunities
- Undertaking market research, pricing analysis, and competitor benchmarking
- Contributing to Investment Committee and Board materials
- Playing a key role in improving modelling, reporting, and systems as the business scales
About You
- 2–5 years’ experience in property development, property finance, valuation, or investment analysis
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
- Strong understanding of development feasibility and key investment metrics
- Exposure to residential, land, or multi-stage developments highly regarded
- Commercially astute with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator, able to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
