Change & Communications Lead

We seek an experienced Change & Communications Lead , supporting one of the organisation’s largest strategic transformation initiatives.

This role is critical in driving engagement and adoption across people, processes, and technology, ensuring that impacted teams and external stakeholders are well informed, prepared, and supported throughout the change journey.

You will play a key role in executing the Transformation Strategy and Communications & Engagement Plan, working closely with the Project team, Project Manager, Product Owner, and Business Analysis Lead.

Acting as a trusted point of contact for both internal and external user groups, as well as the change champion network, you will help guide teams through the transition from project commencement to delivery into production.

Your focus will be on delivering clear, timely, and high-quality communications and change activities that align with the organisation’s methodology, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive delivery of change and communications activities to support successful project outcomes.
  • Engage proactively with impacted internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure awareness, readiness, and transparency.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality communications across multiple formats (digital, written, verbal, and visual).
  • Partner with change champions to embed new ways of working and build long-term adoption.
  • Produce and maintain key change management artefacts, ensuring quality and alignment to project timelines.
  • Balance and prioritise change activities to match the capability and capacity of teams.
Experience
  • 5+ years’ proven experience managing change deliverables and outcomes within complex and regulated industries.
  • Certification in one or more change methodologies (e.g., Prosci ADKAR, Kotter’s 8-Step Change Model).
  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with the ability to create and deliver engaging content across digital and traditional channels.
  • Experience designing and producing digital communication assets, from videos to executive-level communications.
  • Proven expertise in developing high-quality change artefacts such as impact assessments, training needs analyses, support models, change readiness assessments, and communications materials.
  • Experience co-designing the change experience for employees, customers, and other stakeholders, with strong prioritisation skills to meet business needs and project deadlines.
